Tapas Trail Route 4.
Ruta De La Tapa Nerja
This tapas route is great if you can't be asked to walk very far. The whole area is covered in about 200 metres!
Ok, lets get to Plaza La Marina, junction with Calle Castilla Perez. This is the RIU Monica Hotel side of town. Just up from the Bosque bar.
La Marima Bar
On the corner of the Plaza where it meets the main road is the La Marima bar. Calle Castilla PĂ©rez, 28, This place is full of loud, friendly, Spanish clientele. Some of the dishes are displayed above the bar, but nevertheless this is a great 'point and eat' tapas bar. It is always busy, but service is great. Fish dishes are excellent.

'Bodega'
Come out of here and head into the Plaza. In the corner you will see the Bodega, (literal translation is a shop selling wine and food). Great red wine. The tapas is brought to you. Generally you dont get a choice, but all good food. The advantage here is you can sit around the barrels outside and this still counts as tapas. Some places make you sit at the bar, otherwise the price goes up.

Bar Turry
Again next door is Bar Turry. I have always found this an great tapas bar, and as it is nearby it falls into the tapas route quite nicely.
Cafe Paris
Finally, a 2 minute walk away is an old favourite, Cafe Paris, Calle Chaparil, 1. To get there walk down the alley at the side of the EX La Plaza Brazillian bar, into Calle Chaparil, turn right and it is about 100 metres on the right. Great choice of tapas, friendly staff, and they dont mind a group turning up. Again you can sit outside the bar and watch the world go round.
